Responsibilities
- Creating illustrations that are appropriate and appealing to children of various ages and that correspond with the narrative of the story and stimulate the imagination of children.
- Collaborating with the project coordinator to understand the story brief and develop suitable illustrations for each scene.
- Creating sketches that match the chosen master scene to reflect the spirit of the text and ensure a better engagement for the readers
- Working on the coloring process after receiving approval on sketches to deliver a delightful reading experience.
- Adhere to our vision and quality standards to ensure unified and appropriate illustrations.
- Proven experience as an illustrator, with a focus on children's literature.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong digital drawing skills.
- A portfolio showcasing an outstanding body of work that demonstrates relevant illustration experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Results-oriented mindset with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Flexibility and willingness to learn and adapt to feedback.
- A strong sense of aesthetics and an appreciation for design elements such as color and balance.
