Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Owner to join our team and help us fulfill our mission of spreading the love of reading and making knowledge accessible to people worldwide. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the product vision, managing the product backlog, and overseeing the end-to-end product lifecycle. This role requires a strategic thinker who can bridge business needs with technology, drive agile product development, and ensure seamless project delivery. The ideal candidate will focus on maintaining and improving existing products while ensuring high-quality, timely product releases.

Responsibilities:

Product Ownership:

Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business goals.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into well-defined user stories, features, and acceptance criteria.
Prioritize the product backlog based on business impact, user needs, and technical feasibility.
Work closely with development teams to ensure smooth product execution in agile sprints.
Continuously monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and iterate to enhance the product experience.
Ensure regulatory, compliance, and security requirements are met in all product features.

Project Management:

Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones, ensuring on-time delivery within scope.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and operations.
Ensure clear communication across teams, providing regular project updates to stakeholders.
Manage project documentation, reporting, and resource allocation efficiently.
Drive continuous process improvements to enhance team efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications & Work Experience:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in product management and project management, preferably in technology-driven environments.
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience working with Agile teams.
Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Experience with product management tools (Azure, JIRA, Confluence).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Knowledge of UX/UI principles and technical product development processes.
Certification in Agile (CSPO, SAFe PO/PM) is a plus.
